I am increasingly preoccupied with an awareness of time, and how it is that we navigate through the enterprise of life. A tapestry of memories, woven from place, circumstance, and experience, serves as a resource for both reflection on the past and a projection of the future.
The work here is motivated, shaped and informed by recognizing the ephemeral and often unpredictable nature of one’s life. Created in an attempt to give shape to that which may promote an awareness of “presence”, the compilation of days that root us in time, and the opportunities and challenges that can, and sometimes do, happen unexpectedly with significant consequence.
